Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee and improve our procurement operations. This role involves sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, managing imports/exports, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. You'll work closely with multiple departments to maintain inventory, control costs, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchasing of products and materials from global suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for timely shipments.
Forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and logistics teams to align purchasing goals.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
5+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in import/export.
Knowledge of global sourcing, logistics, and trade compliance.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working with international suppliers.

Preferred:

Familiarity with U.S. customs regulations.
Multilingual and knowledge of international markets.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
